This Return and Refund policy shall only be applicable for transactions conducted via Malaysian Diabetes Educators Society (MDES) Virtual Conference 2022 Website only.

MDES shall use its best efforts to ensure that Orders are correctly fulfilled.

Should there be any discrepancy of conference registration fees payment and the Customer wishes for refund, please notify us by completing and submitting the refund request via email to

We will contact the Customer within seven (7) working days after receipt of the email to direct the Customer of the procedures in respect of the refund.

The Customer is advised to wait for our instruction for the next course of action.
In the event the Customer does not receive any reply from us after the aforesaid period, please contact us either by e-mail at or call/Whatsapp us at +60 17-927 7466 for enquiries.

Refund of conference registration fees can be arranged under the following reasons:

  • If the payment of conference registration fees are different from the Order made
  • Provided Always that the Customer shall provide the proof of Order and payment of the conference registration fees.
  • If a Customer is charged more than the value of conference registration fees as displayed on the site when the Customer makes its Order, MDES shall refund to the Customer the difference.
  • A 90% refund can be made for cancellation received by email at least 4 weeks before the event.
  • A 50% refund will be given if cancellation is received 14 days before the event.
  • .If the participant is unable to participate, a replacement is allowed at no extra cost provided written notice is given prior to the event.

All refunds will be made via cheque or online banking within 14 working days from the date of receipt of email.

MDES shall not be liable with respect to any loss, damage, cost or expense that you or any person may incur as a result of any delay in processing the said refund.
